About the Artist

My name is Evangelia.
I was born in Fodele, a little village in Crete, Greece.

My work also includes Byzantine iconography (art) for churches in Greece and Canada.

In addition, I have learned and practiced many types of art over the years i.e. wood carving, wood burning, engraving, painting, collage, mosaic, portrait, landscape and still life; but my main focus for some time has been landscapes and iconography as mentioned above. My strength in painting is the mastery of color and light that I give to each of my creations to enhance the true beauty of the art itself.
